home painting has also extensive experience in decorative painting and refinishing. Decorative painting, also called faux painting, is a form of painting done with almost any type of paint available. Using different objects to create different looks; such as featherdusters, sponges, rags, or plastic bags, home painting will create an elegant and rich look.
We guarantee:
- Prior to painting, we will remove all dust, grease or cobwebs using a cleaning solution
- We will remove and put back electrical socket/switch plates, ceiling fan/lamp covers, thermostats and any other wall or ceiling devices necessary
- We will patch all holes and cracks.
- All appropriate surfaces will be primed prior to applying the paint
- By applying the rag rolling technique we will give your walls a subtle marble look with a textures of dull to glossy
- By applying the sponge painting technique we will give your walls a very soft, mottled look.
- We can also do faux marble painting in conjunction with sponge painting or rag rolling.
- We can use a technique called veining on top of the completed wall that is done with black as the base coat and two different shades of green sponged or ragged on top. Using an acrylic extender paint in a very light color, a feather is used in an irregular pattern to make the veins.
- Proper and neat storage of all equipment during the job
